LANCE, THE LATE MR. F.D.

AUSTRALIA

MINTO, NEW SOUTH WALES.

It is often found that Nurserymen who stock and sell geraniums, have a great love for the plants they make available to the public. This definitely applied to Mr. Lance. At his Nursery, he began to stock geraniums about 1955 and many of his well-known originations were hybridised there. After the death of his wife, he moved to Minto to be with his daughter and naturally, his plants went with him. For many years, geranium enthusiasts would travel by train, coach and car to purchase plants from him. He loved to see the many friends he made and always had time for a chat with them.

Mr. Lance passed away a few years ago, but he will long be remembered by all who grow and love geraniums.

The following list was compiled by the Research Committee.
