Splendide(Violarium) Once considered a true species but now listed as a possible cross of P.tricolor x P. ovale. Long, narrow, serrated edged, grey-green leaves. Flowers are larger than P.tricolor though the same lovely pansy look of purple upper petals and white lower petals. Experienced.
Thompson & Morgan Yellow(Yellow Primrose) Large shallowly lobed or scalloped leaves. Double bloom is pale cream, almost yellow. This plant seems the same as both 'Botham's Surprise' and 'Butterball'. The first of the three to be marketed. Intermediate.
